Great Attendance at Denver October 27 Peace Rally
Here are photographs from today's peace rally in Denver, part of the National Mobilization to End the War in Iraq.
Fifteen hundred people attended the event held on the west steps of the Colorado state capitol building.
Green Party members were visible and active at the anti-war protest.

Anti-war demonstrators marched in a dozen U.S. cities on Saturday to call for an immediate end to the war in Iraq and a cut-off of funding by Congress. The "national day of action," sponsored by the United for Peace and Justice coalition, attracted throngs of protesters in cities from Boston and New Orleans to Chicago and Los Angeles on the fifth anniversary of the U.S. Senate's vote authorizing the invasion of Iraq.

the peace rally was so amazing. it was such a good opportunity to protest what me and my friends believe. i'm even writing an article about it for my school newspaper. it was just such a sweet event!

What a bunch of incredibly stupid people in my home town. I would say more but obviously it’s a waist of time so I’ll just say GO TO HELL, and let me add, YOU PEOPLE COULDENT FIND YOUR EARS TO PULL YOUR OWEN HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS. You are so wrong and in so many ways that you amaze me. You are truly the fruits of western man in full decline.
