A Special Message From New State Co-Chair, Tony D'Lallo:
Hello Everyone!
You are needed! I am here to recruit you! No, I am not Uncle Sam and this is not for the military! This is for the Adams-Jefferson County Green Party Chapter.
The Adams-Jefferson County Green Local Chapter needs a new chairperson to organize events, lead meetings, and fundraise for the local, state, and national Green Party. Some of the duties include endorsing Green candidates in the newspaper, writing articles, Voter Registration Drives, and organizing forums. Please consider the time and effort for this important job.
I hope that a woman steps up and takes this position because the past chairpersons have been men. It has been awhile since a woman has chaired/led our group. I hope that a person of color or of a different linguistic group/culture takes the lead. I can say that the serving as an openly LGBT chairman has been easy because of the diversity and warmth of this group of people. I felt supported and welcomed, part of the community. I thank the Adams-Jefferson County Greens for their generosity and to the Green Party's dedication to so many political causes.
Recently, our local chapter has paired up with the Denver Greens for meetings. Adams-Jefferson County Greens have been active in Open Space park clean ups, fundraisers, and voter registration drives.
I believe, now more than ever, Greens must take a stand for peace in the Middle East (Afghanistan and Pakistan) and everywhere; a stand for single-payer health care; a stand for excellent public education; a stand for protecting Colorado's ecology including its limited water supply; and a stand for curbing our massive carbon footprint. Most of all we must create strong local economies that reduce our reliance on fossil fuel transportation.
All of these issues can be presented to the public using education campaigns and/or forums. The list of issues is endless.
The chairperson position is open to all registered Greens in Adams and Jefferson Counties regardless of previous participation. It is an opportunity to get involved politically and socially within your community.
Finally, the Adams-Jefferson County local chapter has been one of the most active chapters in the state. All we need is a person with passion and integrity to get things moving. If you are interested please contact me, Tony D'Lallo, or call 303-428-6677.
Thank you.Sincerely,
Antonio D'Lallo

Denver, COHave you been effected by the tremendous downturn in the economy?

- on how we should not move forward? If it is clear that no matter what we do, we must do it together, come join with your neighbors at the Mercury Cafe to share in the first steps toward building a new way forward.
Coloradoans for a Fair Economy and the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center are hosting a community conversation.
We may not all know about Credit Default Swaps or Derivative Financial Instruments, but we know about the tough decisions now facing our families and friends.
Come one, come all.
